Physics is the subject which is the base of all the sciences. The laws of Physics are applicable in every field of sciences.

Whats is physics

Physics is the science of exact measurement. We can measure the distance between points, mass, and weight of solids as well as liquids and various other measurements with the help of formulas developed by Physicists.

Actually, Physics is the study of phenomenon occurs in the universe. Laws of Physics are based on the fact of this nature. These laws show how the universe changes continuously.

Laws of Physics are not applicable to some specific things. These can be applied to the whole universe. These laws do not state. These are changeable and can be modified.

Every phenomenon in the universe occurs under the action of some forces. For example:

In Mechanics Physics we study the motion of various objects and also study under what forces various objects moves.


Thermodynamic Physics is the study of heat, energy, and the relationship between heat and energy.


It is the study of the properties of light. Reflection, Refraction, and wave motion of light is studied in optics Physics.

Lenses, Microscope, Telescope, etc. are the applications of Optics Physics.

4.Electricity and Magnetism

Here we study the properties of electricity and magnetism individually and also their relationship. The study of electricity and magnetism is also known as Electromagnetism.

5.Atomic and Nuclear Physics

It is the advanced form of Physics. Atom Physics is the study of individual atom and Nuclear Physics is the study of Radioactivity.

6.Solid-state Physics

It is cleared from the name of the branch that it is the study of solid-state objects. The motion of solids and the equilibrium of solid objects are discussed here.
